Grevil is designed to meet the needs of the most demanding riders through its ergonomics, warmth and technology. Grevil combines advanced technology and style through Dot Sandwich construction, pairing an outer Dot Air & Water Block Light fabric for wind and water protection with an inner layer of exclusive Polartec® Alpha®. Developed in collaboration with U.S. Special Forces, Polartec® Alpha® provides high levels of breathability, thermal protection and fast drying. Together, the two fabrics introduce the concept of “active protection,” maximizing the balance between thermal insulation and body-moisture management to help prevent the chilling effect during descents or less active phases. Because Polartec® Alpha® is a mesh-structured insulation, it is used directly without a lining to keep the garment lightweight and packable. Polartec® fabrics maintain their intended performance throughout the life of the garment.
